Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026 · Consent version 4
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone). They allow the site to recognize the device and remember choices you have made.
This Policy also covers browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which serves a similar purpose. When we refer to cookies, we include these technologies.
2. Who is responsible for the use of cookies?
The website centralit.com.br is operated by Central IT Tecnologia S/A, registered under CNPJ no. 07.171.299/0001-96, with head office in Brasília/DF. Central IT is the controller of the data collected via the site's own cookies.
3. Cookies we use
The categories below are the same as in the cookie notice. The tools in the optional categories are only loaded after you accept them.
3.1 Necessary (always on)
They make the site work and store your choice about cookies. They do not depend on consent and are not used to identify you.
- centralit_consent (local storage): stores your choice about cookies and your consent ID. It remains in the browser until you delete the site data.
- _cit_consent (cookie): indicates that the choice has already been made. Lasts 1 year.
- case-som (session storage): remembers whether you turned off the sound of the demo on the case pages. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- centralit-marketplace-view (local storage): remembers the display mode chosen in the Marketplace. It remains in the browser until you delete the site data.
- sb-…-auth-token (cookies): login to the restricted area for Central IT staff. They only exist for those who sign in to the internal dashboard and last while the session is open.
3.2 Functional
The site currently uses no tool in this category. If it starts using one, the tool will be listed here and the cookie notice will ask for your choice again.
3.3 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google) to learn which pages are visited, for how long and where the traffic comes from. It identifies the browser by a random ID, without name or e-mail, and does not store the full IP address. This data is pseudonymized, not anonymous. Google processes this data as a processor, including on servers outside Brazil.
- _ga (Google Analytics cookie): distinguishes one browser from another by a random ID. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_FFQMBRLHZR (Google Analytics cookie): keeps the state of the visit. Lasts 2 years.
3.4 Performance
The site currently uses no tool in this category. If it starts using one, the tool will be listed here and the cookie notice will ask for your choice again.
3.5 Advertisement
The site currently uses no advertising or remarketing tool (such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag or Meta Pixel). If it starts using one, the tool will be listed here and the cookie notice will ask for your choice again.
3.6 Third-party content
- YouTube videos (Google): they are shown in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), in which YouTube does not store cookies before you press play. When you watch, YouTube may store its own cookies and data, in accordance with the Google privacy policy.
- Fonts (Google Fonts): the browser downloads the site's fonts from Google's servers, which receive the IP address in order to deliver the files. No cookies are stored.
4. How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge and as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal applies from that point on and does not affect the use made before it.
4.1 Cookie Preferences
Click the button below or "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page. There you can turn each category on or off and see your consent ID. When you turn off Analytics, the site stops sending data to Google Analytics and deletes its cookies from your browser.
4.2 Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Apple Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Please note: deleting the site data also deletes your choice, and the cookie notice will appear again. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
5. Storage period
5.1 In your browser
Each cookie remains for the period stated in section 3. You can delete them earlier, at any time, through your browser.
5.2 Record of your consent
Each time you make or change a choice, Central IT keeps a record with: the random consent ID (the same one shown in Cookie Preferences), the categories accepted and rejected, the date and time, the version of this Policy, the language, the page on which the choice was made, the browser used (user agent), the country and state the access came from (estimated from the IP address) and a code derived from the IP address, generated with a secret key, without storing the IP.
This record exists to prove consent, as the LGPD requires of the data controller (art. 8, § 2). A new choice does not delete the previous one, and no record is changed. Records are kept for an indefinite period, to meet this obligation and for Central IT's defense in administrative or judicial proceedings (art. 16, I, and art. 7, VI).
To receive a copy of your records, write to the Data Protection Officer (section 8) stating your consent ID.
6. Legal basis
The use of cookies rests on the following legal bases of the LGPD (Law 13,709/2018):
- Consent (art. 7, I): functional, analytics, performance and advertisement cookies.
- Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX): cookies necessary for the operation of the site and for storing your choice.
- Compliance with a legal obligation and regular exercise of rights (art. 7, II and VI): the record of consent described in section 5.2.
7. Versions of this Policy
This is version 4, in force since 21 October 2026. It added to the record of each choice the country and state the access came from (section 5.2). The cookies used did not change, so anyone who had already made their choice does not need to choose again. Version 3, of 16 October 2026, reduced the list of tools to those the site actually uses.
We keep the text of every version. If Central IT starts using a new tool or purpose, it will publish a new version and the cookie notice will ask for your choice again.
